The view from her pedestal was dark as she realized that the earth did not revolve around her.

Thanks so much Linda. I am still really trying to find my way. After this semester of art history studying modern art I really think I would like to go a little more abstract - and again - loosen up more. I have always REALLY loved working with texture but applied texture can be a pain so with this, the paint is the texture instead and I really like that.

Love the texture in this piece. And the lack of any facial features is perfect for the quote in the description.

Thanks so much. Yes, I am moving more toward the absence of facial features in my work. I am wanting to try to create more of a general presence that "could be anyone" or a sense of mystery and wonder of who that person really is.

You definately got some skill with a palette knife, suits you very well indeed :) Excellent paintings, even if I wasnt able to comment on all of them (going through a dev watch of around 90 pieces) I did full view them all. I really hope to see more of this type of work from you!
